Top 5 Social Media Blogs

I’ve been receiving quite a few email lately asking for recommendations on some of the top social media blogs for tools, tutorials, resources etc. Being the huge dork that I am, I have a lot of fun geeking out, putting together a list of some of my favourite social media blogs, most of which I already subscribe to myself.

If you’re lucky enough to manage social media accounts for a company brand, or just looking to take your own social media presence to the next level, check out some of these social media blogs for some great resources.

5. SocialMediaToday

I turn to Social Media Today to find blog posts just like this one, that offer lists on some of the top online tools for social media. One of my favourite posts from this blog that I have bookmarked on my browser is 10 Free Essentials Resources for Community Managers

4.Social Media Examiner

Social Media Examiner is quite similar to the previous blog mentioned, although in my opinion this blog is a bit more focused. While Social Media Today provides news articles and cover recent trends in social media, the Social Media Examiner blog focuses on strictly providing tools and resources for social media branding. One of my favourite blog posts from this site (also bookmarked onto my browser, because again, I am a dork) is 45 Social Media Tools and Tip to Improves Your Marketing

3. SocialMediaExplorer

The Social Media Explorer blog is great for those who are ready to delve into their social media research and understand digital trends. Some of the categories that they cover include social media marketing, public relations, social media monitoring, digital marketing etc.

2. HubSpot

The HubSpot blog is one of those rare websites that you should actually subscribe to. Their e-newsletters include articles that you’ll actually want to click on, and save for future reference. My favourite thing about the HubSpot blog is the straight forward, and easy to understand tone of the articles; 5 Reasons Your Marketing Goals Suck, 11 Questions about Pinterest You Were Too Afraid to Ask, and How to Convince Your Boss to Invest in Social Media Marketing, just to name a few.

1. CopyBlogger

CopyBlogger is a key tool for every digital marketing toolbox. This website provides tips and resources on how to improve more than just your social media campaign, but also improve your emailing marketing, keyword research, keyword copywriting and so much more!
